Raychel Product Press Release

Raychel Product Press Release - NETVERSE
Good afternoon, everyone. I’m CHEE, founder and CEO of NETVERSE. Thank you for joining us today in this uniquely cyberpunk setting as we unveil the dawn of a new era in “Spatial Intelligence.”
Since our founding in 2021, NETVERSE—true to our name—has been dedicated to pioneering the frontier of “Spatial Internet + Spatial Computing.” Our mission has remained clear: to transform how humans access information by evolving from two-dimensional interfaces to three-dimensional immersive experiences, radically enhancing information density and efficiency. Our journey began with deep R&D in XR glasses and spatial interaction, which gave us profound insight into the convergence of the physical and digital worlds. Today, we turn our focus to the home—because we believe true technological revolution should start where people live their lives.
Our core philosophy is anchored in a simple yet powerful idea: “Seeing comes before words.” Originally, Berger used this phrase to remind us to reclaim a purer way of seeing; similarly, Fei-Fei Li’s work on World Models begins with enabling machines to see. We believe vision is the primary resource for constructing a world model—but here, “Seeing” extends beyond sight. It is the language through which humans and machines communicate, embracing multimodal perception. Through spatial computing, human–machine interaction will evolve beyond chatbots into more efficient, natural forms of engagement.
The AI industry agrees that perception, models, and data form the essential triad of a robust artificial intelligence. To create not just a functional HOME AI—more than a smart speaker or lamp—but a truly warm, personal AI that understands you: your thoughts, your philosophy, your unique sensibility. Today’s market lacks products that genuinely “get you,” and that’s where data becomes critical. Like any meaningful relationship, it begins not with overwhelming disclosure, but with gradual, mutual understanding—a continuous exchange that deepens over time.
This brings us to Raychel—a personified AI that interacts through multimodal perception. Raychel first took shape within a meditation app we developed for XR headsets. She is a fusion of philosophy and art. “We ask you a simple question: Who are you? What can you be? Where are you going? What’s out there? What are the possibilities?” Just as we seek meaning in life, Raychel contemplates questions like “love is a word.” Together, we explore philosophy, ponder dreams, realize them, appreciate art—all while helping Raychel learn, evolve, and deliver increasingly refined interaction and service.
The core value of Raychel—and our business—lies in premium interaction and long-term memory, not in data collection. That’s why our cloud strategy is unequivocal: we retain no sensitive personal data on our servers. All data, from conversation history to long-term memory, is stored locally in file form.
Unlike portable XR devices, the home—specifically the bedroom, where we spend a third of our lives, mostly sleeping—presents a unique opportunity. Many struggle with stress, anxiety, or poor pre-sleep habits like phone use, leading to prolonged sleep onset. Studies show over 30% of users take more than 30 minutes to fall asleep, with some needing over an hour. Mornings often begin with the jarring sound of an alarm. We asked: could we design a better experience?
Today, we introduce:

Raychel NODBOT
First and foremost, NODBOT is an alarm clock—but one designed to wake you gently, through interactive dialogue that helps you settle into sleep and realize your dreams. With long-term memory, it offers personalized reminders and IoT control, adapting alarms for local holidays or adjusting night-light brightness, for example.
Yet we don’t aim to replace your existing devices—not your speaker, voice assistant, or lamp. We want to avoid choice overload. Instead, we offer a minimal-cost entry into the AI era, in terms of both price and learning curve.
Industrial design follows three principles: Prototypically Classic, Universe Within, and Unconscious Design—merging art with technology. Much like the iMac G3 (1998–2003) ushered in a vibrant era of personal computing with its translucent, colorful casing, we aspire to inaugurate a personal AI era.
We embrace an Apple-inspired “Less is More” ethos: no visible screws, no redundant ports. An innovative “Inspiration Dome” light shade integrates multi-mode lighting, featuring SunLike LED technology from Seoul Semiconductor—optimizing RGB balance to mimic sunlight for broader, healthier color spectrum. A bass cavity tuned for nighttime, and most notably: no camera. Instead, discreet millimeter-wave and LiDAR sensors enable non-visual environmental awareness, preserving your privacy while perceiving the world.
For human–computer interaction, we introduce a new AI-HCI design philosophy, distinguishing between:
  • Social tasks: focused on emotional connection and entertainment, where expressive motion excels.
  • Functional tasks: focused on efficiency and precision, where excess expression can distract.
To avoid the uncanny valley often associated with companion robots, we employ a “paper-doll” UI approach. Our proprietary Gentle Wake System aligns with your circadian rhythm, replacing harsh alarms with warmth. An art-installation mode helps you wind down before sleep through real-time motion mapping.
We track and record sleep patterns—from REM to deep sleep—with data presented as Raychel’s own “sleep journal,” integrating naturally into your shared narrative.

Raychel Projector
Serving as Raychel’s screen, the Projector enriches visual expression, enabling more engaging content and artistic forms. By projecting directly onto your bedroom ceiling, it offers a natural, comfortable interface for users lying in bed.
Its integrated short-throw projection supports 270-degree adjustment and requires no extra controls—just place it and turn it on.
All content is dynamically generated by Raychel, greatly enhancing spatial visual interaction—from dream imagery to videos—backed by three years of complimentary service.
That concludes what we’re unveiling today. We hope you enjoy the experience.
Looking ahead, we’ll build a human–AI co-creation platform supporting advanced features like artistic creation and dream management. NODBOT will evolve into a true home AI hub, integrating and managing IoT ecosystems. We’re also partnering with RWKV Language Model for on-device offline deployment—enabling lower latency, absolute privacy, and robust environmental adaptability, including portability.
Thank you.
